Police Services
Police services are provided by the Pennsylvania State Police, Honesdale Barracks – dial 570.253.7126 or dial 911
For calls from out of the area, please call the Wayne County Communications center at 570. 253.3109 (TTY 570.253.3109).
Give the emergency dispatcher as much information as possible. The dispatcher will ask you the location of your emergency, and ask for details of the emergency. Please do not hang up the phone until the dispatcher tells you that you may do so, to ensure that the emergency services are dispatched correctly and promptly.
Wayne County Food Pantry - Damascus
Third Thursday of each month at the Damascus Township Municipal Building from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Please call the Municipal Building at 570.224.4410 if you need more information.
Donations are gratefully accepted.
Please bring food items to the Community Center just before the distribution date, as there is limited storage space.
Wayne County Recycling - Damascus
Damascus Township Municipal Building from 9:00 am to 12:00pm Second Saturday of every month.

Damascus Community Center
This modern facility, located in the Damascus Township Municipal Building at 60 Conklin Hill Road, is designed and is available for meetings and gatherings, private parties, and public and social events. There is a large room for guests with a kitchen area. Consumption of alcoholic beverages on township property is prohibited.
