Damascus Recreation Park

This great facility includes a large picnic pavilion with charcoal BBQ grills, Heritage Barn, and horseshoe pits.

The picnic pavilion has lights for evening activities, and is available for use.

Please contact the Township Secretary for available dates, reservations, and fees.

Pavilion Rental Forms

Application forms are available from the Township Office only.
Please note that this reserves the pavilion only. All other park features remain open to the public and cannot be reserved.

Contact the township at 570.224.4410 for forms. Only paper applications accompanied by a check will be accepted.  No electronic submissions allowed.

Damascus Forest

58 acres of woodland for low impact activity, including nature study and low-impact hiking, open to the public. Located along MacCubbins Road, this Township-owned property is a nice quiet retreat for those who enjoy nature.

Park and Forest Rules and Regulations

Keystone Recreation Park Conservation fund administered by the Bureau of Recreation & Conservation, PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources. Assistance provided by the Damascus Improvement Association, Damascus Township Supervisors, and the Citizens of Damascus Township.
All the work has been done by volunteers!

The pavilion, ballfield, walking trails and playground are open and available for public use. The park offers a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, baseball field and nature trails. The pavilion has lights for evening gatherings. The park is also the location for the Heritage Barn. All the work to plan and construct the park has been done by volunteers!
