Damascus Area Elementary School students learn about fire trucks, ambulances and equipment. For Fire Prevention week, the students were treated to a visit from the local fire and ambulance companies on October 17, 2008. Kindergarten through fourth grade students participated in demonstrations by the Equinunk Fire Company, the Lake Huntington Fire Company, and the Damascus Ambulance Corps, which are the volunteer fire and EMS organizations serving the area.
