WAYNE COUNTY FOOD PANTRY - DAMASCUS Third Thursday of each month at the Damascus Township Community Center from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Emergency food request - call (570) 253-3109 Please call the Municipal Building if you need more information (570) 224-4410. Donations are gratefully accepted. Please bring food items to the Community Center just before the distribution date, as there is limited storage space.

WAYNE COUNTY RECYCLING, DAMASCUS

Damascus Township Municipal Building from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, Second Saturday of every month. Call for details (570) 676-4976 or (570) 224-4410

DAMASCUS TOWNSHIP ROAD MAINTENANCE

Damascus Township Road Maintenance crews maintain 95 miles of gravel and paved highways in the Township. Contact the Township Office (570-224-4410) to report any problems with Township roads. After-hours phone number 570-493-0142 for road problems.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintains the State roads in our Township. Please contact the PennDOT office in Indian Orchard (Honesdale) at (570) 253-3130 or 800-FIX-ROAD to report problems with State roads.
